The Department of Economics invites applications for appointment as Visiting Professor of Economics for 2017-18 and beyond.

We seek candidates prepared to teach introductory economics (microeconomics and macroeconomics are combined into a one-semester course) and/or introductory statistics. Additional expertise would ideally include at least one of the following: intermediate microeconomics; health economics; sports economics; international trade; international finance; personal finance; economic history.

We seek dedicated, engaged, and rigorous teaching based on an up-to-date knowledge and engagement with research. Visiting appointments generally do not go beyond two years.

The teaching load is three courses per semester (generally, with two preparations maximum). Requirements for Ph.D. expected to have been completed at the time of appointment but advanced ABDs will be considered.
