The Core Curriculum at Loyola Marymount University announces openings for full-time, non-tenure track Fellowship/Instructor positions in Rhetorical Arts beginning Fall 2017. Fellows teach three sections each semester, for which they will develop syllabi and assignments in accordance with program guidelines. Rhetorical Arts fulfills an undergraduate core curriculum requirement and fosters articulate expression, critical thinking, and moral reflection, enabling students to engage in written and oral public debate with persuasive force and stylistic excellence, as well as providing opportunities for active engagement with essential components of the Jesuit and Marymount educational traditions. The Fellowship is for a two-year term, with the possibility of renewal contingent on performance and review by the Director of the Core Curriculum.

Required Education:

Candidates should have at least a Masters by June 2017. We welcome candidates from Rhetoric and Composition, English, and other fields.
