Position Summary:

Provide coordination for the building Front Desk program and Area Offices. Evening hours are expected to properly manage front desk program. This position will also assist in report management and basic administrative needs.

Position Specific Responsibilities:
  • Coordination of day-to-day management of the building front desk program and area offices. This includes hiring, supervision, scheduling, student training, on-site auditing, updating procedures and protocols.
  • Report management and data reconciling as requested. This may include work orders, access reports, damage billing, opening and closing reports as needed.
  • Perform routine administrative support that include Early Arrival, extensions, Health and Safety inspections, fire drills, damage billing.
  • Assist with the opening and closing processes for the residential facilities as
  • Assist with the transition of the housing facilities to and from Conferences &
  • Provide support to the Housing leadership team on special projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in facilities/property management or administrative assistance or Housing administration.
  • Requires valid California driver’s license. Must maintain a “satisfactory” driving record as evidenced by DMV.
  • Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral) evidenced by background in preparing comprehensive reports and summaries incorporating complex, highly technical information.
  • Highly developed organizational and leadership skills. Ability to perform long range planning; coordinate efforts with multiple campus and service providers; facilitate problem resolution; analyze and administer programs and systems.
  • Demonstrated computer competency and preferably knowledgeable of student information systems.
Required Education:
  • Typically a high school diploma or its equivalent supplemented by coursework or on-the-job training. A Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in business administration or related field is preferred. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes.
